Toronto Event Hub is bringing our signature trivia social to the courts. We’re teaming up with The Backyard Club, Toronto’s new & largest indoor pickleball and social club, for a night that starts at the trivia table and ends with a paddle in your hand.
You’ll meet your team over interactive trivia first, so by the time you hit the court, you already have a few friendly faces cheering you on (and laughing at your serve with you).
No experience, no partner, and no trivia expertise needed. Just come ready to play, move, and meet some new people before the holidays.

Hosted by Toronto Event Hub, the team behind Toronto Game Night and Toronto Dating Hub. For 6 years, we’ve been Toronto’s go-to for trivia nights and hosted socials, helping thousands of Torontonians meet through shared experiences, good conversation and a little friendly competition. This time, we’re bringing that same energy to the courts with our venue partner, The Backyard Club.

👋 Check-in and icebreaker: we’ll get the room mingling right away
🧠 Holiday movie and sports trivia: play in teams on the turf lounge, hosted by Toronto Event Hub
🎓 Beginner pickleball intro: The Backyard Club’s team walks you through the rules, scoring and how to hit the ball
🔁 Rotating social play: new partner every game, with staff running the rotations so you can just play
🏆 Prizes: win guest passes to The Backyard Club and credits to our upcoming events

📍 Where: The Backyard Club, 1800 Steeles Ave W, Vaughan
🚗 Parking: Free on-site
👥 Who: Open to everyone 19+: singles, couples and friends. All skill levels welcome, especially first-timers!
✍️ All guests must sign The Backyard Club’s waiver before playing.
Pricing:
There are limited spots (8 people per court). The ticket cost covers the event hosting, trivia, court time & hosted social play, chance to win prizes, curation & organization. Eventbrite charges separate fees to use their service. No refunds. Paddle rental is not included (& there are limited paddles on site) - best to bring your own.
Drop in rate is $55 + hst at the door payable by cash or etransfer- IF WE HAVE SPOTS.
Food & drinks are extra & paid directly to the venue.
No refunds will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event for whatever reason. There is a non refundable deposit of $45 that will be deducted from your credit you request for should you not be able to attend.
